Being part of DBI’s Graduate Program not only granted me the opportunity to work increasingly cross disciplinary, providing me with unique insights and experiences – it also served as a springboard, opening several doors within the organization.
Today, I work as a research consultant in advanced fire testing, running between doing small scale tests, building data, and analyzing reports. I really like being hands-on and close to our clients. They’re at the heart of everything we’re doing. We tailor each testing to suit their specific needs, providing our clients a playground to gain insight into the fire safety properties of their products at an early stage. This gives them a better basis for making the right decisions about materials and design choices during product development. It also increases the chance of passing later classification test… And there’s nothing better than helping our clients develop their system to pass the test. It’s what truly inspires me in my role.
At DBI, we’re constantly evolving, and we have so many things going on. Every day brings new projects, challenges, and solutions. For me, it’s an environment that’s both enriching and stimulating to work in. It feels like being part of a close-knit family where everyone supports and encourages each other to do their best.
