As a department leader and fire advisor, I get the best of both worlds. I get to develop and manage people while practising my specialisation. My tasks touch everything – from daily and strategic management to competitions and offers, technical documentation and quality assurance. This provides variety in my workday, which makes my job fun, exciting and challenging.
